An 18-day strategic odyssey

ITIHASA, Mapping Our Past

The war that defined an era is no longer a memory.
It is a choice you make, card by card, dawn after dawn.

Choose Your Side

A coin toss decides Pandava or Kaurava, just as fate decided it the first time. No one gets to pick their team; everyone learns to play the hand they're given.

Pandava and Kaurava coins
Warrior cards

Deploy Your Champions

Send a Warrior Card into the day's battle, face-down. This is the moment kids love most, the reveal.

Deploy Your Sena

Resources are finite. Spend too much on day one and the eighteenth dawn finds you empty-handed.

Sena cards
Astra and Shastra cards

Wield Legendary Astras & Shastras

Mighty weapons, summoned by timing. An Astra held too long is worthless. Bluff, threaten, or commit.

24 Event Cards

A Bhishma-falls or Chakravyuha card breaks the tide at exactly the right moment, if you're brave enough to play it.

Highest total across Might and Dharma at the end of day eighteen claims Hastinapura and the game.

What's in the box

Every component tells a story

Warrior Cards

Warrior Cards

24 Cards

The heart of the game. Twenty four legendary warriors, twelve Pandavas and twelve Kauravas, each with unique power ratings and special abilities drawn directly from their roles in the epic. Arjuna, Bhima, Krishna, Karna, Bhishma, Drona and more.

How it works

Each player commands the 12 Warrior Cards of their side. One is deployed per battle, face-down.

Sena Cards

Sena Cards

60 Cards

Your army pool for the whole Mode: Padathi, Dhanurdhar, Rakshasa, Rathaa and Gajadala.

How it works

Each Duel, deploy at least 3 Sena cards with a total of no more than 15 LP.

Astra & Shastra Cards

Astra & Shastra Cards

24 Astras · 24 Shastras

Mighty weapons, each with its own power and timing.

How it works

Deploy 1 or 2 per warrior, never more. A Shastra adds +5 LP when it matches the Warrior's icon. Reveal or withdraw all your weapons together.

Event Cards

Event Cards

24 Cards

Each Event reveals the active battle and names the Warrior who fights it.

How it works

Shuffle the Events for your chosen Mode face-down into the Event slot.

Battle Mat

Battle Mat

The mat holds the Event slot that reveals the active battle.

How it works

Keep the Score Sheet handy for LP, BP, Winner and VP.

Pandava Warriors: 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 11

03Epic War

Legends & Destinies

The final stretch. Meet the legends and face their destinies across 10 decisive Events.

Pandava Warriors: 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
Kaurava Warriors: 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 12

Each Mode tells you which Events, Warriors and Astras to use, according to the numbers at the bottom-right of the cards.
04Grand Campaign

Advanced Mode

Duration: 60+ minutes  ·  Events: all 24

Play all 24 Events as one long Grand Campaign. Shuffle all 24 Event cards into a single deck and play them out of number order. Setup, battle and scoring stay the same.

Withdraw Rule: before a battle starts, a player may withdraw from an Event by discarding 3 LP of Sena. With fewer than 3 LP of Sena left, you cannot withdraw and must play the Event.

Ideal for team play and campaign-style games. A team may end the game early if all its players have no Sena, Astra and Shastra cards left. The team with the higher total VP wins.

The Gathering

Your grandfather told this story to me when I was your age.

A grandfather and his six-year-old, cross-legged on the rug. Values transmitted not through lectures, but through the weight of a card handed over.

It's not just a game, beta. It's why Arjuna hesitated and why he chose to fight anyway.

A father and his six-year-old, cross-legged on the rug. Values transmitted not through lectures, but through the weight of a card handed over.
